The Eggs have a hatching percentage of more than 90% and will hatch into live Artemia nauplii (baby brine shrimp) in 18 to 30 hours. Brine Shrimp nauplii trigger the feeding instincts of fish larvae, providing a natural feeding experience. Therefore baby brine shrimp are the perfect live food for the early life stages of many marine and freshwater tropical fish, as well as for a variety of invertebrates. This Pre-Mix conveniently contains artemia cysts and sea salt in the correct ratio, avoiding the hassle of measuring the right amounts.
